Good in Goodbye

Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.

There’s a certain beauty in saying goodbye. We get so caught up in our everyday lives that we forget how temporary everything is.

In life, the good and the bad co-exist. When we say goodbye, it’s easy to focus on the sadness that surrounds it, and we forget about the good - the memories.

I was inspired by the song “Sleep” by K-R&B artist GEMINI, which explores the theme of longing and reminiscing on the good times you once shared with someone. The song conveys how memories and emotions are intertwined, manifesting when you’re awake and even in your unconscious state of sleep.

As we reflect on our own lives, what I’ve learnt is to embrace each and every moment in life - both the good and the bad.

If you want to experience the greatest happiness, you have to be ready for the greatest sadness.
